'Lockett's Luck' (Fay Duval, T. Jostremski, Elmina Thibault, R 1947) LA. 30 inches; Early bloom. Color Class R4L. Flesh to mauve pink, large diamond-shaped signal outlined with maroon. Found near Golden Meadow, LA by Mrs. Fay Duval and Mr. T. Jostremski. Collected. (synonym Rattle-Snake). Honorable Mention 1950. Recorded as Vinie in 49 Checklist; Class renamed Louisiana Iris.
