From Sidney Conger Louisiana Iris catalog, 1951: MRS. ROBERT LEE RANDOLPH. (Reg. 1950). On a tall, straight stalk of 40 inches are displayed these unique flowers the color tones of which surround Cosmos in the color charts. The sepals of the large 6-inch flowers are almost heart-shaped, having a notch in the end. It is further enhanced by a small linear patch of clear yellow. The petal is very slightly lighter than the sepal, but giving the impression of a beautiful clear self of sporty and beautiful appearance. An iris that impresses all who see it. $10.00.
