'Purple Joy' (Donald Spoon, R. 2007). Seedling# 2003-32A. SDB, height 14" (36 cm), Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards violet (RHS 86A); style arms (86B), lighter (86D) edges; Falls violet (86A), darker violet (nearly black) spot, lavender blue (92B) between violet veins beside beard; beards lavender blue (92B) tipped lighter (92D), orange in throat; ruffled; slight spicy fragrance. 'Wise Willow' X 'Senorita Frog'. Winterberry 2009.
