From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing SHY VIOLET-SOBSdlg. M397-1: ((Kentucky Bluegrass x blue sdlg.) x Cotton Blossom) X (Sapphire Jewel x M297-1). Lightly ruffled standards, domed and closed, are medium lilac blue infused amethyst. Horizontal falls are lilac blue, wide and round. Deep amethyst beards. Beautiful form and color. A demure lass. 11". $10.00. Bennett Jones.
