Iris baldshuanica O & B. Fedtschenko (Olga & Boris Fedtschenko, 1909, Baldshuan, Turkestan); Subgenus Scorpiris, Juno; 4-6" (10-15 cm); Color Class-B. or B7; Blue or red-toned blue in 1939 checklist but color variable and may better be described as yellow or cream with violet veining on falls or pinkish brown staining on style branches. There is a yellow ridge on the falls. The margins of the haft of the falls turns downward, typical of several members of this group. The tiny standards are horizontal or slightly deflexed. Leaves grayish green.
