Iris benjaminii. (Zvi Dazit-Ginsburg, 1960) Mention in the British Iris Society 1960 Iris Year Book. It is suggested by Mathew in The Iris that it is just a color form of Iris bismarkiana said to be from the Huleh region in the upper part of the Jordan Valley.
