TB; 20" (50 cm); B3L; Standards lavender-white veined with violet-purple at base, reticulated with violet purple on claw; carriage cupped, arching; blade spathulate, notched, undulate, revolute; size 11/8 in. wide, 2 in. long. falls pale Hortense violet at center of blade, suffused or blended over a lighter, more whitish ground, daintily reticulated with red-purple of a brilliant hue; carriage horizontal to flaring; shape spathulate to oblong, convex; size 11/4 in wide, 2 in. long. Minor parts; beard fine, projecting, white tinged with bluish, primrose at base; haft narrow, channeled; reticulations fine, widely spaced; spathe-valves, green keeled. Growth weak to moderate; increase slow to rapid; habit regular; foliage lax, leaves slender, glaucous yellow-green; 1 bloom open at once, shy; stalk erect, flexuous, with 5-7 buds.
