‘Lady Beatrice Stanley’. (Approved AIS name, 1939 checklist). Reteculata; Color Code-B2L Falls Moorish violet-blue (RHS 93C), shading to 93B around the crest. Blotch feathered white with yellow vein. Standards and styles 93C. 2n=17; Received an Award of Merit, February 22, 1977 with this description in the Proceedings of the Royal Horticultural Society: “Sixteen flowers of this cultivar which is apparently a selected clone of Iris histrioides, were shown. They were up to 10 cm (4 in.) tall and the standards and falls were Violet-Blue Group 96D, the falls being streaked with white and having a yellow median crest. It is said to increase readily in the open garden, and withstands the weather well. Exhibited by Dr. J.G. Elliot.” Iris histrioides (G.F. Wilson) S. Arnott.
