(SPEC) 'Nova'

1991, Ellis

'Nova' (Dr. J. R. Ellis, unregistered, described 1991). Section Lophiris, Possibly a form of Iris confusa or Iris wattii or possibly a new species. Grown and shown by Dr. J.R. Ellis. More robust than Iris confusa. Self-fertile, but not long lived and cultivar represents a seed strain. Standards and falls white, yellow signal markings fading to a halo of light violet dots. Not discussed in Mathew's The Iris.
