Iris zaprjagajevii (N.V.Abramov) T.Hall & Seisums, Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 167: 300 (2011). synonym; Juno zaprjagajevii N.V.Abramov, Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 8: 115 (1971). Subgenus Scorpiris, (Juno); Exhibited at the 2014 Scottish Rock Garden show by Jim Almond with the note "A rare Juno Iris species closely allied to the 'I. rosenbachiana group' it is however much later flowering than the other members, quite diminutive and much more difficult to cultivate. It is also unusual and unique amongst the Junos in having grey 'bloom' on the foliage. The plant exhibited has been grown in a sand plunge with alpine house protection in a mix of JI no.2/perlite/grit below the bulb and neat grit above"
