Standards and style arms concord purple (M&P 45-K-12); Falls slightly darker (46-K-12); beards chrome yellow based white in throat, mustard based purple in middle, ends purple. 'Adriatic Waves' X 'Noble Gesture'.   Keppel 2017.

From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 2017: ADRIATIC NOBLE EM 38” (Adriatic Waves X Noble Gesture). #09-75F. Purple may be a “common” color for an iris, but purples reign! A very popular color, this is a rich concord purple, the falls just a tad deeper in tone than standards, and with purple beards tipped mustard toward the flower center. Wide, ruffled flowers – and plenty of them -- on well-branched stalks carrying 9-11 (on occasion up to 15!) buds. Easy, vigorous growth. $50.00.
