From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: BALLERINE (Vilmorin 1920) 9.4. One of the very finest lavender bicolors. S. broad and waved at the margins, of light blue-violet; F. a deeper blue. Very sweet scented flower, of large size, on stems 48 inches tall. A really grand variety. $1.00 each.
