From Bay View Gardens catalog,1969: BRIDAL SHOWER 36 inches, EM. New Snow was the first white iris that we grew. We never thought that a white iris would impress us, but New Snow did and our white breeding began. With BRIDAL SHOWER the summit is climbed. A pearly white self with subdued yellow beard. Distinctive with its absolutely horizontal flare, extreme width, serrated edge, and a heavy substance. Combines the bubble-ruffling of the Frosted Starlight line with the corrugated ruffling typical of the Hinkle line. Good branching and super vigor. No. 63-116R: ((Frosted Starlight x Demetria) X Nina's Delight). $25.00 |
