Awaiting original Bunyard's 1929 catalog description gives "Castor. This fine Iris wns much admired at Chelsea, and was awarded the Silver Medal of the Iris Society. The colour is new in Irises and constitutes a "break" 'l'he standards are ivory, but almost completely spotted crimson, falls the same but with the ivory more apparent in the centre. The whole effect is bright crimson.....3-ft...each 12/6.
