'Dusty Skies' ( Les Peterson by A. Kary, R. 1987). Seedling AK-85-BG1. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Standardsgreyed white (RHS 156C) with violet blue (197C) undertone; falls violet blue (97C), deep yellow shoulders; deep yellow beard tipped violet blue; ruffled. 'Western Salute' X 'Gypsy Prince'. Kary Iris 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing DUSTY SKIES (Peterson) TB, 34", M. Sdlg. AK-85-BGl. Standards are grey, falls are blue with deep yellow shoulders. Beards are deep yellow tipped blue. Ruffled. Vigorous plant. Was seen in '87 Convention in Phoenix. $25.00. Kary Iris Gardens.
