From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing DYING EMBER (5161 X 101-61). TB. 36". M-L. This is a very dark red of the most excellent quality. Lots of flowers, extremely free of haft markings, excellent branching and substance. 51-61 is from Black Delight and 101-61 is a pink. The flowers seem to me in perfect proportion, with wide, domed standards and flaring, ruffled falls. Name indicative of color. This, to me, is "worthy." $25.00. El Dorado Iris.
