'Flossie King' (John King, R. 1983). TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards pure white; falls white, slightly striated green; white beard, pale yellow in throat; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Winter Olympics' X 'Piety'. King's Iris 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing g FLOSSIE KING TB, 34-36", M. Medium to large ruffled and glistening white with illusive green striations at hafts; white beards, light yellow deep in throat. Superb candelabra branching, 2 or 3 blooms at a time, totaling 9 to 11 buds. Vigorous increase. A sight to behold in a clump and fragrant, too! Winter Olympics X Piety. To be seen at St. Michele's Exhibition Garden. To see is to want!! $25.00. King's Iris Garden.
