Here is a color we need badly, a true Lobelia Violet (Ridgeway), and a self. The blooms are very large, wide and full in parts. The beard is inconspicuous, light yellow. Some ruffling adds to the beauty of the flower. Helen Fitzgerald was one of the hits of the Salt Lake Iris show. One judge said: "I don't believe any of us realize how good an iris Helen Fitzgerald really is." Not yet distributed out of Utah. Stock is very scarce, but I cannot hold it back another year. H.
