'Highland Lord' ( Richard Tasco, R. 2009). Seedling 03-TB-28-05. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards glistening blue-purple, very slightly lighter toward edges; style arms light blue-violet on top 1⁄3 near crest lightening to pale lavender-violet at base and edges, very wide; Falls rich blue-purple, slight reddish influence, darker purple in ruffles, flared; beards white tipped golden yellow, few violet hairs at end; heavily ruffled; medium purple base foliage; slight fragrance. 'Shadows Of Night' X 'Louisa's Song'. Superstition 2009. Honorable Mention 2012.
