From Maple Valley Iris Garden catalog, 1937: LADY PARAMOUNT (White 1932) EM 14 in. A tall and beautiful yellow which caused a sensation when first shown in California. It has bloomed beautifully here through two seasons without protection and is one of the finest light yellows. A perfect self of clear primrose yellow, the large lustrous flowers are gracefully carried on tall well branched stems. H.M., 1932, A.M.. 1936. $5.00. |
