Awaiting original catalog description |
Bunyard's 1929 catalog gives "Lyra. We attempt below a description of the colouring of this beautiful Iris, but would say that the general effect is far brighter and more pleasing than our description would suggest. The flowers are mauve pink, shot blue, very large and well balanced, a very distinct colour. The plant is strong, well branched and free flowering...3½-ft...June....each 42/-" |
