See below:
From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1950: A very lovely iris in cool lemon-yellow and frosty-white--truly magnificent in every respect. The closed standards are pale yellow, while the crisp satin-finished falls are yellow with a highlight of white on the mid-section. The blending of the white and yellow is a work of art--even the beard is white at the tip, and as the color deepens into the throat the beard picks up the pale yellow coloring. The falls are extra large and slightly wavy. An iris you will treasure. 3 to 4 feet tall. $15.00 |
