1929, Mohr-Mitchell
'Monterey' ( William Mohr- Sydney B. Mitchell, R. 1929) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class-S7M. 'Bruno' x unknown.
Monterey. The dark, bronzed red-violet flowers, the deeper and velvety falls distinctly edged with the lighter shade of the standards as in Monsignor, are of good size, form and substance and borne on well but closely branched stems 45 inches high. Our first introduction where Bruno is one parent, it brings new characteristics to the Dominion race. Sold only in sets this year. If stock permits it will be offered separately in 1930 at $25.00.
