Mozambique (Mead-Riedel, See below: 1934). A tall, stately red violet purple with flowers of largest size and finest form and great rounded petals. Falls a bit flaring. S. Mulberry Purple; F. Prune Purple shading to Cotinga Purple, beard inconspicuous. Height 37 inches. Fragrant. Strong grower. Mr. Mead considered this better than 'Meldoric'. $12.00.
