From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing o SHENANDOAH. The best thus far in a fabulous cross for both remontancy and novelty, this is not startlingly novel, it is a large, well-formed, well-branched pale violet with more than a touch of gold at the base of the S. and a solid golqen golden brown wash over the hafts. Four violet veins run down the very center of the F. part-way. Beard golden brown. (Sdlg. G 78 "Byline"). $35.00. Avonbank Iris Gardens.
