'Plicata Whisper' (Les Peterson, R. 1979). Seedling #LP 77-9-10. TB, 30" (76 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards pale silver-grey; falls lighter (almost white) ground with brown plicata markings and chartreuse undertone across haft to tip of bronze beard, 1/2" silver-grey border. 'Amanda Sings' X 'Saddle Shoes'. L Peterson 1980.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing PLICATA WHISPER-TB, 30" (76 em), ML. Large, attractive, delicately colored plicata with standards of pale silver-gray; falls lighter (almost white) banded color of standards. Brown plicata markings with chartreuse undertone across hafts to tip of bronze beard. Bud count (7-8), branching and vigor good. Amanda Sings X Saddle Shoes. $25.00. Les Peterson.
