From Bonnewitz catalog, 1926: SOUV. DE LOETITIA MICHAUD (Millet) $8.00. The strong stems grow about 4 feet high, bearing enormous flowers of a fine texture. S. lobelia blue, shading toward the edge to pale blue; F. the same color beautifully veined yellow on the white ground of the haft. We were glad to see this variety in full bloom in Mrs. Waters' garden in Cincinnati, and we agree with the English and French growers who have seen it, that it is one of the finest Irises yet introduced. Very few roots for sale this year.

From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: SOUVENIR DE LOETITIA MICHAUD (Millet 1923). A magnificent Ricardi hybrid with large and beautifully formed self-colored flowers of a delightful shade of lobelia-blue, shading paler blue toward the edges, veined yellow on a white ground at the haft. Tall and free-flowering on well-branched stalks. Over 48 inches. Requires a protected location with perfect drainage. $8.00 each.
From Cooley's Wholesale pricelist, 1932: "LOETITIA MICHAUD. Gigantic in size, perfect in every detail, this iris retains its popularity in spite of numerous competitors. Of an even tone of soft lobelia-blue, a little deeper than the blue of the sky, a light yellow beard for contrast. This often times grows shoulder high, and is one of the many irises classed as tender that can be depended upon to thrive in almost any section of the country. Among the indispensables. Each 85c; three for $2.25; ten, $5.00."
