STORM KING (1940) 48". From Mata Hari X Smolder. A self color. Very deep blackish purple with red underglow. S. domed. F flare widely. Very large. Velvety but does not spot. Inconspicuous brown beard. No visible markings on haft. Strong substance. Nicely branched. Grape fragrance. Much larger, darker and richer than Smolder with widely flaring falls.
