Hybridizer's Comment: See below: * * 'Thundering Ovation' is another selection from my hardy plicata program. Wild Jasmine has proven to be an extremely interesting and useful parent. 'Thundering Ovation' receives these genes from both pollen and pod parents, Time Will Tell and Dream of Gold. Standards and styles are pristine white with subtle gold tan rims around laced edges. White upper half of the falls is veined and sanded rosy violet to plum. The lower half of the falls is tan sanded and washed plum, becoming heavier toward edges. A narrow white rim circles part of the fall and becomes white plicata dots and hooks around the lower edges. This unusual creation is hard to describe. Just have a look at the picture. Beards are clean medium yellow. 'Thundering Ovation' will draw rounds of applause for all its unique qualities. Take a look at its sibling, References'Wonders Never Cease'.
