Subgenus Hermodactyloides

This is a Subgenus in the Genus Iris. This group is often referred to as the Reticulata Irises. It is divided into:

• Section Brevituba which includes Iris pamphylica,
• Section Monolepis which includes Iris kolpakowskiana, and Iris winkleri,
• Section Hermodactyloides which includes Iris bakeriana, Iris histrio, Iris histrioides, Iris reticulata, Iris vartanii, and Iris winogradowii,
• Section Micropogon which includes Iris danfordiae.

The new species Iris zagrica would be in the Section Hermodactyloides along with Iris tuberosa.

Other species names associated with this subgenus but not necessarily recognized as species today are; Iris amasiana, Iris bornmuelleri , Iris crociformis ,
