A Subgenus in the Genus Iris. Subgenus Xiphium includes the following bulbous species; Iris boissieri, Iris filifolia, Iris juncea, Iris latifolia, Iris serotina, Iris tingitana, and Iris xiphium.

The Large group of hybrids Popularly known as Dutch Irises are botanically Iris x hollandica.
