'Contraband Girl' Offered by We-Du Nurseries Rte 5, Box 724 Marion, N. C. 28752; 1992 Catalogue states Iris virginica " An extremely vigorous form. Larger in all parts than the species; foliage lush and bold." may be 'Contraband Girl'. Also seems to be identical with Iris virginica L. "Orchid" as offered by Lorena Reid. Iris virginica L.. Rene Duval, 1992.
'Contraband Girl' listed in Ensata catalog as Iris virginica. Listed on Niche Gardens, Chapel Hill, North Carolina website as I. virginica.
