'September Sparkler'. Brown's Everblooming Iris 1945.
AUTUMN TWILIGHT (Brown 1948) L. A fall blooming iris that is dependable in flowering even in New England, where most of these do not perform well on account of our shorter season. The closed standards are ecru in color, with no veining, and have a sparkling finish. The semi-drooping falls are lavender in the center, bordered with a brown edging. Hafts ecru with lavender reticulations. Blooms in August, September, and October. Floriferous and increases rapidly. Well branched with nine buds. 32 in. $8.00.
