'Buckthorn' (Duane Meek, R. 1979). Seedling# D71-l-9. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason late bloom. Standards buff brown; falls same with gold wash over hafts; yellow beard; amber-brown spoons. ('Coraband' x 'Spooned Blaze' seedling) X ('Golden Chord' x 'Carmel Kisses' seedling). Melrose Gardens 1979.
