(TB) 'Lipstick Split'

2017, Burseen

'Lipstick Split' (Tom Burseen, R. 2016). Seedling 013-482B. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards violet (RHS 88C), washed tan centers and base; style arms cream, ruby red washed base, gold feathered edges; falls dark cardinal red (53A), washed delft rose (46D) edges, slight violet-blue wash under beards; beards nasturtium orange (25B); flared; slight sweet fragrance. 'Quite A Stir' sibling. Burseen 2017.

Original Catalog Description 2017: 35", Midseason-Late. Are those falls about as "red" as a tall bearded can come to be? Color decided the introduction of this honey as form is not up to snuff. Coloring resembles what females nowadays apply to their lips! $55.00.
