'Tropical Passion' ( Thomas Johnson, R. 2005). Seedling# T224A. TB, 39" (99 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards off-white flushed medium peach throughout; style arms white flushed medium peach, lacy style crests; falls white, medium orange-peach hafts extending half way down petal; beards tangerine; lightly laced; musky fragrance. 'Tropical Magic' X seedling# Q38E, sibling to 'Country Dawn'. Mid-America 2005. Honorable Mention 2007.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: TROPICAL PASSION - TB, 39" (99 cm), Midseason. Tropical Passion has those glowing, yummy, tropical fruit colors. Ruffled and lightly laced standards are warm white flushed and veined pink almost to their edges. Pretty peach styles peek from between them. Ruffled and strongly flared warm white falls have apricot hafts that give way to a blending of pink around fiery tangerine beards. Tropical Passion will coax you in for a close-up look. Tropical Passion has 4 branches and 11-12 buds coming from strong growing plants. Sdlg. T224A: Tropical Magic X Country Dawn sib. $45.00.
