From Sturtevant Glen Road Iris Garden catalog, 1920: TRUE CHARM — Purest white, with a delicate fringe and style branches of blue-lavender. The broad, well developed segments and the opaque substance give a strength of character rarely found in its class. 3 ft. F.C.C. (MHS) 1917, 1920.
From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: TRUE CHARM (Sturtevant) M. 40". A beautiful plicata, white with margins delicately edged with blue lavender. This is the best plicata, that we have seen, with exception of San Francisco and Los Angeles, which are much higher in price. $.50.
