'Anvil Springs' OGB+ (John Holden, R. 1980). Seedling Hk12a. AB, 24" (61 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards buff ground, flushed pale red purple, finely veined darker; Falls darker red purple with buff yellow cast; red purple signal; yellow beard. Seedling Hf16: ('I. auranitica'_ x 'Clara') X W. Wilkes seedling: ((MG10 Sal x W7) x seedling JBT-K). Aril Iris Farm, 1980. Honorable Mention 1985.
