'Bethlehem Song' OGB ( Doris Foster, R. 1967). Seedling 66-36-6. AB, 35" (89 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards white, Falls yellow with deeper yellow styles; mahogany brown signal; gold beard. 'Bethlehem Star' X unknown. Tell's Iris Gardens, 1968. Exhibition Certificate 1967; High Commendation 1967; Honorable Mention 1969; Judges Choice 1969; White Award 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing BETHLEHEM SONG (Doris Foster). E-M. 35". BETHLEHEM STAR X unknown. C.G. White breeding; may be selfed. Closed white standards are ruffled. Falls yellow with a strong mahogany-brown signal larger than a 25c piece. Sends up stalks intermittently over a long season; branching varies with the season and weather. Will have from 3 to 7 flowers, but always three buds in the terminal. Doris' masterpiece. EC and HC '67. Net $25.00. Tell's Iris Garden.
