From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000: BIRD OF PARADISE DIS (William P. Aylett, R. 1948). Sdlg # NIA. TMB, M. (Grace Mohr X Naranja) X W. R. Stevens' huge R seedling. AIS Color Class: S7D (dark red-toned squalens). Vallette: "dark red, pure TB." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: On Vallette's list of oncobreds, which implies that it had been recorded with ASI as such although TB in appearance; at 1/16 onco it was disenrolled when the quantum requirement was adopted.
