1959, Tompkins 'Bongo Babe' ( Chet Tompkins, R. 1959) Eupogocyclus, (TB-onco). 38" (97 cm). Midseason bloom. Bamboo-brown, flushed Martinus green. Loomis cream Mohr x 'Prairie Dawn'. Fleur de Lis 1959. Also listed in TB web. 'Bongo Babe'. NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance. See below:
