‘Cream Tart' (H. M. Hillson, R. 1943). DB, height 5" (13 cm). Early bloom. Color Code-Y9M. Cream; olive and red markings on falls. Hill seedling X I. humilis ( arenaria).

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.

From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000: CREAM TART DIS (H. M. Hillson, R. 1943). Sdlg #NIA.DB, low height, E. Hill seedling X I. arenaria. AIS Color Class: Y9M (yellow standards and red falls). '76 CL: S yellow; F medium red. Vallette: "cream, splashed oxblood." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: an RB in the Lawrence-based quantum system but the chromosome set code can't be determined; disenrolled when the modified Mathew system was adopted because I arenaria was reclassified as Psammiris.
