'Gates Of Persia' OGB+ (Doris Foster, R. 1976). Seedling 72-1-1. AB (3/4), 20" (51 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards dahlia purple, veined darker, oxblood red midribs and style crests; Falls oxblood, veined maroon, black maroon center; maroon beard. 'Persian Market' X I. gatesii . Foster, 1976. Honorable Mention 1977.
