'Golden Joppa' OGB- (Jack Linse, R. 1957). Seedling JP-3. TB-onco. 35” (89 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards creamy white; Falls medium straw yellow, green at center; darker beard. (('Extravaganza' x 'Rajah Brooke') x sibling) X 'Joppa Parrot'. Easy Breeze Gardens, 1958. Honorable Mention 1961; White Award 1965.

Fortunately this is very vigorous & has huge globular 8" flowers with form of Gatesii & color of Pinnacle! Standards creamy white; falls straw yellow with a hint of elusive green in center. From Linse's 1964 Easy Breeze Garden catalog: GOLDEN JOPPA (Linse '58) 35". HM '61. A perfectly hardy, healthy, and easily grown Aribred, with the full globular form of the Oncos. The big, heavy substanced flowers have standards of cream white, domed and firm. The falls, broad and semi-flaring, are of medium straw yellow, with hint of elusive green. Delightful fragrance, has pollen and sets seeds. Breeding is (Extravaganza x Rajah Brooke) x sib X Joppa Parrot. $5.00
