AIS Color Class:!S7D (Dark red-toned squalens.) Court of Iris: "Claret red with broad velvety falls". Rainbow: "Claret red, with broad velvey falls set off by a lilac and yellow beard. Standards partially open, exposing brilliant amethyst style arms." Vallette: "fairly large iridescent brown-purple self." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists.
