From Tell’s Gardens catalog, 1962: IMARET (W. Wilkes) Early-Midseason 38". (Kalifa Gulnare x Imam Ahmid) This stunning "yellow amoena" with pure white standards and clean yellow falls enhanced with an onco-like signal of wine below the wide yellow onco-like beard has won the hearts of all who have seen it. Shown at Salt Lake City it was awarded an Exhibition Certificate in 1961. Carries two branches and sends up secondary bloomstalks, when established, which extends its blooming season. A real achievement. Fertile both ways. #18GM. $25.00 |
