'Jallah Effendi' OGB (Clarence G. White, R. 1951). AB, OX (Tb-onco), 18" (46 cm). Extra early to very, very late bloom. Yellow, green, red and mahogany blend, purple splashed. Craig, 1952.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: JALLAH EFFENDI (White '52) E-30". Amazingly colorful. My top favorite in this group. Standards buff yellow, delicate mahogany veins, sometimes a chartreuse tinge. Falls cinnamon yellow, flushed red, peppered in purple. Wide heavy orange beard. Hardy, increases well. Pollen highly fertile, also sets seed heavily. Your chance for a dandy breeder at low cost. 44 chromosomes. Reg. $4.50; on $10 order $2.95; on $25 order $2.25.
