From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: JOCUND (White '38) E 28" (Oncocyclus X Tall Bearded). Supposedly half Onco; the light yellow blooms show a distinct white line down the center of the falls. $.75
From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000: JOCUND AB (Clarence G. White, R. 1938). Seedling # NIA. TMB, tall, E. Onco X bearded. AIS Color Class: W5M (white ground with medium yellow feathering). '76 CL: Yellow-toned white, darker feathering. Court of Iris: "light yellow blooms show a distinct white line downthe center of the falls." Rainbow: "light yellow, with a white line down the center of the falls." Vallette: "creamy light yellow, white line down center of F." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: Classified by the '76 committee as an OB in the quantum system, but counted by Randolph & Mitra as a 48-chromosome TB. Ref: AIS '39, p.295; ASI '76, p. 47-A; Vallette, p. 177.
