1959, Knopf 'Kearnie' ( Mary Ellen Knopf, R. 1959) Seedling 14-H-78. Oncobred, (TB onco). 32" (81 cm). Late bloom. Corn-yellow self. ( 'Elmohr' x 'Golden Majesty') x (yellow seedling x 'Cascade Splendor'). Knopf 1960. Also listed in TB web. 'Kearnie'. NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance. See below:
