'Lancer' (Howard Shockey, R. 1994). Seedling 90-112-BZ. AB (OGB), 28" (71 cm), Midseason bloom. Medium light orchid violet; falls with very large and sharp near-black pointed signal; beards old gold. 'Seraph's Jewel' X 'Queen Sheba'. Arilian Acres 1995. Honorable Mention 1997; Award of Merit 1999; White Medal 2002.
